Who we are

Fidel Flow is operated by ameseginalehu imaginations L.L.C. (United States), which is the data controller for the personal data described here — we decide why and how it is used. Contact us at tcmnomad@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

  • Account data (name, email, login credentials, sign-in provider) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • Learning data (lesson progress, XP and streaks, review cards, pronunciation scores) — to deliver the service and show your progress. Legal basis: contract.
  • Voice recordings and chat messages you submit for pronunciation feedback or conversation practice — processed by our AI provider to generate feedback. Legal basis: contract.
  • Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
  • Usage and device data (pages visited, feature usage, device type, IP address, error logs) — to keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Subscription status (plan, status, renewal date) — to give you access to what you paid for. Legal basis: contract.

Payment card details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us — we never see or store your card number.

Who we share data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database and authentication, media storage, error monitoring, and AI model providers used to generate pronunciation feedback and conversation replies.
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers such as legal and accounting, where necessary.
  • Authorities where we are required to do so by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep account and learning data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period after closure to handle disputes and meet legal obligations. Voice recordings submitted for feedback are kept only as long as needed to produce and display that feedback. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised. Billing records are retained by Paddle as required by tax law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. US residents may also have rights to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither) and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. If you are in the UK or EEA you additionally have GDPR rights and may complain to your supervisory authority; where data is transferred outside your region we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Email tcmnomad@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, and restricted administrative access, to protect your data.

Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, and our payment provider sets cookies needed to run checkout. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though signing in will stop working.
